What is Counselling / Psychotherapy
Therapeutic Counselling or Psychotherapy is a confidential relationship in which you can explore problems and issues which are impacting on your life.
People come for counselling for many reasons:
- to work through childhood or historic issues or traumas
- to explore current concerns or dilemmas
- to gain insight into personal behaviour
- to enable change
The process of counselling can be healing and transformative as you are encouraged to reflect, and should you choose, change patterns of thinking and behaviour.
